Can I install an Ajax security system myself?
Most of the system is built for DIY. Ajax hubs, sensors, keypads, sirens, and the wireless cameras are designed to mount and pair through the app with no tools beyond a screwdriver. The wired IP cameras are the exception; they need cabling and professional setup.
Which products need professional installation?
The wired IP cameras (bullet, turret, and dome) require running cable and configuration, so those are install-only and carry a “Pro install only” label. Everything else ships for self-install, and we confirm anything that needs a quick activation on your order.

What does professional installation cost?
